Iveco Bus Champions will transport the All Blacks across Europe for their Fall European Tour

From 6 to 27 November, Iveco will be European Supporter of the All Blacks, and will provide the team with six Iveco Bus vehicles – two Magelys, “International Coach of the Year 2016”, and four Daily Minibus Hi-Matic, “International Van of the Year 2015” – which will be used to transport the All Blacks and their management team during the Fall European Tour. The three European fixtures for the New Zealand squad will be test matches: 12 November at Stadio Olimpico in Rome, 19 November at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin and 26 November at the Stade de France in Paris.

The Iveco Bus vehicles used to transport the All Blacks and their management team during their Fall European Tour 2016 will be the Magelys Lounge and the New Daily Minibus.

The Magelys Lounge, which will be used to support the team, is 12.8 metres long, with a glass roof in addition to the side glazing panels and features an 8.7 litre Iveco Cursor 9 engine that develops 400 hp with a torque of 1700 Nm at 1250 rpm. The engine is partnered with the ZF AS-Tronic automated gearbox. The vehicle has been customised for the team, with just 46 seats of which 8 spaces around two games tables at the rear of the vehicle, to provide even greater comfort for the players. It has also been fitted with a host of amenities, including Lavazza coffee maker, fridge, toilets, reclining leather seats, Wi-Fi, sat-nav, multimedia audiovisual system with two LCD monitors, USB sockets for every double seat.

The Daily Minibus vehicles feature a Hi-Matic automatic transmission designed to deliver maximum performance at low operating costs, while providing unbeatable comfort, superior gear change performance and reduced fuel consumption. With 8 speeds, the gearbox is now faster and more precise than on the standard 6-speed transmissions, guaranteeing the correct gear engages in less than 200 milliseconds, for outstanding performance.

The Daily Minibuses are Tourys models, with all the comfort and style of a grand touring vehicle, in a more compact model. The vehicle, which is fitted with a 170 hp, 3.0 litre, F1C engine, features 19 reclining seats, an easy-access lowered luggage compartment with a maximum capacity of 2.5 m3 and new upholstery – wood-look flooring and fabric-covered ceiling. The amenities include a fridge, Wi-Fi, dual amplifier for microphones, sat-nav, and USB socket in every double seat.
