These two studies reveal the evolution of the TAN brand (Transports en commun de l'Agglomération Nantaise, the trademark of the Nantes Métropole transport network), soon to be taking delivery of 80 Urbanway buses. These vehicles have 32 seats and two wheelchair spaces, and can accommodate 109 passengers in total. They offer a host of new features compared to the existing buses in operation on the Nantes network: driver air conditioning, reinforced driver seat for improved safety and ergonomics, four large flat screen displays for passenger information, higher silencer position to protect pedestrians and cyclists from heat emitted from the vehicle, and optimised fuel consumption system (photo credit: GRAPHIBUS)
